Whoranghae tests your ability to recognize individual members singing each line in K-pop songs.

How to play

  1. Pick a song from the menu on the left — sort by date or A–Z, filter by group, or search by title
  2. As the song plays, the time slots at the bottom highlight one at a time. Each slot is (usually) a single member or subunit
  3. Select who you think is singing
  4. When you're done guessing choosing, hit Check — or use the per-slot Check button to verify one line at a time
  5. Try as many times as you like until you get them all

Controls

Autoscroll follows the active slot as the song plays.

Themed toggles special per-song color themes.

The 🎨 palette button in the top-right swaps between the site's theme colors and the official member colors.

The 🌙 / ☀ toggle next to it switches between dark and light mode. Both modes are theme-aware across slots and lyrics.

Reveal shows every answer — handy as a singer reference or when you just want to listen.

You can also pick a difficulty per song. Higher difficulties add slots that are not guaranteed to be a solo or subunit (any combination is fair game), though there's never a slot where the entire song lineup sings together. Hard and Insane assignments may not be fully accurate — nobody knows who sang what until the song is performed live.

Songs with rough, unsynced timings show a timing approx badge in the menu so you know which mappings aren't tightly aligned.

Keyboard shortcuts:

  • space: toggle play/pause
  • left: move backwards 2 seconds
  • right: move forwards 2 seconds
  • c: check answers
  • ctrl+a: toggle global reveal

Lyrics

Click the Lyrics button in the top-right to enable lyrics mode — the current line being sung appears in romanized form, and for songs where they've been transcribed, the Hangul lyrics show alongside. When a solo line is answered correctly or revealed, the highlight is color-coded to that member. In full lyrics mode, the regular game controls are replaced by buttons including Download, which exports the lyrics as a karaoke-ready ASS file.

Bubudle

Bubudle is a daily Wordle-style mini-game. It plays a random lyric clip and asks you to guess the singer(s), revealing progressive hints (lyric snippet → clip difficulty → song difficulty → song theme) until you get it. Includes streak tracking, a subunit filter, volume and seek controls, and a Skip button when a clip has you stumped.

Contributing

Spot a bad timestamp, a wrong singer, or an off difficulty? Or maybe I'm just missing your favorite song? Open a GitHub issue — include the song title, what's wrong, and how you think it should be.

Two ways to gather what to report:

  • Flag things as you play from the Bubudle page — Bad Timestamp, Flag Difficulty, or Flag Singer. Flags save locally; hit Export to download a .txt summary to paste or attach to the issue.
  • Fix it in place — while playing, click Edit in the top-right to adjust slot timings, difficulty, and singer assignments, then Save Mapping to download the corrected config JSON. Attach that file to the issue.

Or:

Thanks

  • Color Coded Lyrics for the color-coded lyric sheets that make singer identification possible.
